Following the surgery, the sutures are removed after 1 week in cases where the waiting period is appropriate, and the patient is left to the healing process. This process can range from 6 weeks to 6 months. Constructive or mobile prostheses last 10-20 days.

Maintenance of up-dental prosthesis is as important as treatment. It is a large part of the success that patients attach importance to hygienic approaches that extend the life of the prosthesis.
